I suspect that system files got corrupted, So I did an sfc /scannow. But it gives an error as "Windows cannot start this device because its configuration information (in the registry is incomplete or damaged. Broadcom BCM20702 Bluetooth 4.0 USB Device). I tried to "update driver software" and select the driver manually in device manager. But now it is showing as "BCM20702A0 unknown device" in device manager. So I tried with the installation cd of this dongle & installed it succesfully. But now, surprisingly, this new dongle isn't working as well! The support page of this dongle ( here) states that in windows 10, no additional driver installation is neede & it will be installed automatically. In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button Install Drivers With Device Manager Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box. I brought a new Kinivo BTD-400 Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle having Broadcom BCM20702 chipset (its compatible with win10) cuz my old built-in dell wireless 365 broadcom bluetooth wasn't working with windows 10 (but was working with win7 & 8). Press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard at the same time. Any help will be highly appreciated and thanks in advance and also want to know whether I can use kext from that old release as that is only bcrmpatchram not bcrmpatchram2.I have Windows 10 (build 10240) in my Dell Inspiron 1440 laptop. Here’s how you can find it, or even confirm that it’s not installed on your computer.

I have still tried installing bcrmpatchram2 and BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext into S/L/E but no success. but latest one that is RehabMan-BrcmPatchRAM-2016-0705.zip missing entry as I have said above.
